Wonderland United

Started the first piece of my newest series "Wonderland United" it's going to be a take on Alice in
Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass from my own perspective with a hint of the American McGee aspect to it. I was hoping to post a few pics of the pencil work done thus far but my camera doesn't seem to pick up the lightness of the 4H Pencil. I'm planning to either go strictly pencil on this one or switch to my classic ballpoint pen approach. That currently is working on the randomness of my mood. As I darken and give this piece life I'll post some pictures to give you and understanding of this twisted vision. I'll admit at first I was hesitant about giving this project life, but I think it will grown and twist quite well. Keep eyes here for things as they develop.

Truth is in the madness, Icy hot is on the TV

     There's a sick twisted mindset rotting through my brain lately it's a mixture of what I can and cannot see. I'd love to say I was seeing things not there and this was all a psychological symptom of chaos just dripping into my brain, but I think it's purely boredom. I'm putting my thoughts together to work on my twisted attempt at a more deranged wonderland. Yet my The Artist series keeps poking it's nose it. Well I'll just see where this goes...

Themed Madness and so so much more

This is honestly the first set I've thrown up that have some obvious themes to them. I've been continuing my "The Artist" set and well you can't have art without House it's just not possible. The top piece is an attempt at being artistic with that old style that has obviously been marked in my strange and unusual ways.

Another digital mixed bag of madness :)

 

     I've been mixing and remixing madness and thus came to some really odd places in my mind. There is a lot more to come and some more madness ahead hopefully I can finish up some pen and ink works and get my initial Alice works done to see if I want to go down that path. Some more madness and an idea set I'm thinking of running with...

In flowing through my madness today I've found that a lot of my thoughts and artwork tend to base around things that don't make sense my own personal "Wonderland" if you will. Thus I've been rolling an idea around in my head about "Alice in Wonderland" I'm thinking of doing my own rendition of pieces and characters from that world with my own twisted taste. I'm not sure if this is going to be a theme to a mixture of my art styles or something I take directly to in pen and ink. Please feel free to leave me some feedback on the thoughts of this insanity. As part of me thinks I've tried this but was unsuccessful due to going strictly pen instead of mixed media. What's your thought my viewers and readers of this madness?

More Madness

     I've been on this rather odd streak of simplicity instead of over complexity. I'll admit there is some detail work that could be added to the set, but I felt in this case less is more as I'm hoping to do a mass mixture of them all at some point. Hopefully this will make more sense in the future.

More of my ugly mug and more TV Art.

 

     I've become somewhat of an anxious shutterbug with the tv art lately as I keep toying with shows I'm watching and then bouncing back and forth with the cameras on my tablet. I'd like to say it's a quick easy process, but sometimes it's all about visual effect. As for the pics of that guy (me) I found it's relatively easy to flux the visual effect with a lot of just crazy madness.
