A look into some of the madness.

I like to run with ideas just to see where they go sometimes. As I have been posting some of the flawed or just broken ideas as of late I figured I'd show some more of what you don't see and some of what just really runs through when I do pop and other types of art.
Testing of many different filters.
So yes I went pop and glitch styling here. There is a throwback to older tech an offset and well simplicity.

Too much:
Tried to stay somewhat monochromatic. Too many over layers which gives it a nice effect, but seriously you lose some of the wow factor.

Too simple
Went classic pop here, but it was too newspapery. It's still got a wow, but looks more like a cut out.

Sometimes things just don't reflect right.
I go through a ton of pics and alot of times it just feels messy or loses some of the focus I had when I looked at the original photo.

This works on a level, but I couldn't blend it the way I wanted so it got stuck here.

lost detail.
This still holds some of it's hot and sex appeal, but some of the shading was lost in the pop transition so it feels off.
doodle and boredom.
yeah it's hard to stay focused on what your point is when you  feel the need to do bizarre lettering and just can't stay on your subject.

Self manipulation:
So before you can make something or express something you have to see how it will work. I've decided the best test subject for this is Me. So yeah lots of pics of my ugly mug that end up like this.

or this.....

like this ....

like this

yep

see the point?

And well then I proof by collage I put a bunch of the filtered and mixed images together and sometimes I like it other times well.

I go crazy and try to animate or give a pop art performance of what stuck. for this it was that I had a bunch of photos with a purple hue.

Shading and lighting sometimes give me headaches.

Something that seems like a good idea , but gets an odd wash

Or looks like the aftermath

or you get a proofing of a proofing within a proofing or what I like to call why dear god why did someone leave me unsupervised.
